Manuscript guidelines and editable Word templates
Purpose and applicability
These guidelines support authors preparing manuscripts for the 1st International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Innovative Applications. The editable Word templates include the conference logo and official name in the header and the website in the footer, and provide a consistent structure, but downloading a template does not imply manuscript acceptance. All scientific decisions remain subject to the conference’s official review process.
Authors should prioritize originality, a clear research question, sound methodology, verifiable evidence and alignment with the conference scope. Research materials must respect source attribution, research ethics and intellectual-property rights.
Download the manuscript templates
Use the editable Word template for the language of your manuscript. Replace all bracketed placeholders with actual manuscript content before submission; use the provided DOCX as the editable source.
Use a consistent writing direction: right-to-left for Persian and left-to-right for English. Keep the filename readable and avoid embedding unnecessary private information.
Recommended manuscript structure
Title: concise, accurate and informative, without promotional or unsupported superlatives. Author information: use genuine full names, institutional affiliations and a corresponding-author email. Only list contributors who genuinely qualify as authors.
Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing the objective, method, data or study population, the principal verified findings and evidence-based conclusions. Provide four to six specific keywords.
Main text: Introduction; Related Work and Background; Materials and Methods; Results; Discussion; Conclusions; Declarations; References. Review or theoretical manuscripts may adapt section names while preserving a coherent scholarly argument.
Document layout and accessibility
The shared template uses A4 paper, 2.5 cm margins and a single-column layout. The English version uses Times New Roman 12 pt. The Persian version is set in B Nazanin 13 pt with true right-to-left paragraph and table direction. Authors need B Nazanin installed to preserve its intended appearance; otherwise Word may substitute another typeface.
Use Word heading styles rather than manually styling every paragraph. Number tables and figures sequentially; provide an informative caption for each and refer to it in the surrounding text. All figures should remain legible at normal reading size.
Use editable equations wherever practical. Follow consistent conventions for abbreviations, mathematical symbols, units and dataset names.
Citations and reference integrity
The proposed default for this AI and data science conference is numbered references in order of first citation, such as [1] and [2]. Other new conferences may select a discipline-appropriate style through their own configuration.
Every citation must match an identifiable reference with authors, title, venue or publisher, year and a DOI or stable identifier when available. Verify the source rather than relying on generated references. Replace all bracketed placeholders and sample table values before submission.
AI and data science reporting
Describe data provenance, sample inclusion and exclusion, data splits, preprocessing, modeling approach, meaningful hyperparameters, baselines and evaluation criteria. Explain how any leakage between training and evaluation was prevented.
Performance statements should report experimental context, sample size, suitable metrics, uncertainty and limitations. Avoid cherry-picked runs, unsupported comparisons or claims that exceed the evaluated population.
Where feasible, explain reproducibility and whether data, code or model settings can be accessed. Privacy, licensing and security restrictions may prevent public release; state those restrictions without exposing protected material.
For studies involving people, healthcare or identifiable records, report appropriate ethics review, permissions and consent where applicable.
Publication ethics and AI-assisted work
Present original work accurately. Declare relevant competing interests, funding and author contributions where appropriate. Check the conference’s applicable rules on overlapping publication and simultaneous submissions.
If generative AI tools materially assisted with writing, translation, coding, analysis or figures, disclose the actual tool and how it was used. Authors remain accountable for validity, accuracy, confidentiality, citations and conclusions.
Submission checklist and official portal
Before submission, check scope alignment, authorship, abstract and keywords, internal consistency, numbered figures and tables, credible references, and all declarations. Replace explanatory placeholders with actual manuscript content.
Paper submission and review tracking take place only through the official conference portal. This page provides writing guidance and templates; it does not accept paper uploads. For supported file formats and submission requirements, follow the live portal instructions.
Ready to submit?
Once the manuscript is ready and checked, use the official submission system.
